The commonly accepted statement that “technology changes every 18 months” should have a strong impact on your technology planning.
The old adage “if it’s running, leave it alone” could very well leave your organization in a vulnerable position.
An Alpha Network Assessment consists of the following:
Scope of Work
- What particular areas do you want to focus upon?
- What do you hope to find out? Define a project and self-expectations.
- Define an approximate time line based on expectations
Collection of Information
A critical process collecting information about your network and how your business currently works:
- Determining your staff needs and your executives needs
- Mapping your existing infrastructure and configurations
- Determining your levels of support.
- Personal private interviews with key staff members and executives in a simple Q&A
Analyzing the Results
- Interpreting the data collected to identify what’s right, who could be better, and what’s wrong as compared to Industry standards while focusing on quality.
Alpha Recommendations
- Presented in a one-on-one sessions
- Coinciding with the scope of work, Alpha will provide the results, interpretations, and a summary of recommendations for network inefficiencies and various risk factors along with specific overall recommendations to be implemented
- This assessment will put your network under a magnifying glass. In the end, you will know what you have and what changes need to be implemented. You own the assessment results. Alpha will provide you with budgetary dollar estimates for various recommendations. Regarding implementation, it’s your choice to do it yourself or hopefully choose Alpha for your deployment partner.
